An International Training on Basic Techniques in Molecular Biology, Primer Design, Sequences Data Analysis and Phylogenetic Tree Construction was organized by VPHCAP and Excellent Center of Veterinary Public Health, Chiang Mai University in collaboration with Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine, Japan. We had honors from Prof. Dr. Hisao Kurazono and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kayo Okumura from Obihiro University of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine and Dr. Warangkhana Chaisowwong from Chiang Mai University as instructors.

The Global Health Institute (GHI) – Thailand has been conducted continually by Veterinary Public Health Centre for Asia Pacific, Chiang Mai University in collaborate with our various partners for 6 years since 2012 with integrative One Health concerning. The program strengthened relevant technical skills and identify opportunities for fostering collective action for the benefit of public health, food security and ecosystem health. In this year, it was conducted during 2 to 13 July 2018 with activities including pre-conference training course, The 5th Food Safety and Zoonoses Symposium for Asia Pacific, and post-conference training courses.

VPHCAP organized the Manuscript Writing Workshop for the 7th batch students to introduce the students on basic writing technique for scientific journal publication. After presenting the research results and data analysis on the 31st January, the students are encouraged to write and submit their works to the international journals which is one qualification of graduation of Master's degree.
