The 6th Food Safety and Zoonoses Symposium for Asia Pacific: Current Update on Emerging Pandemic Diseases and Food System
26-27 August 2021

The 6th Food Safety and Zoonoses Symposium for Asia Pacific is conducted during 26-27 August 2021 by Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety Centre for Asia Pacific (VPHCAP), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University in collaboration with OIE Collaborating Centre for Veterinary Service Capacity Building, and Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University. The aim of the symposium is to encourage, strengthen and generate innovative knowledge between academic experiences in food safety and zoonoses together with expert, government, private, academic scientists, graduate and doctoral-level students in the Asia Pacific region and global level. We have got financial support from MSD Animal Health, Thailand to conduct this symposium.

Summary

There were 126 participants from 13 countries attended the symposium. We have 6 keynote speakers in different area of expertise, 8 research presentation, and 4 poster presentation. This training is financial supported by MSD Animal Health, Thailand.
