On 27 April 2022, Asst. Prof. Dr. Warangkhana Chaisowwong, Director of the Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety Centre for Asia Pacific (VPHCAP), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, together with her team, participated in a brainstorming meeting on the topic “Food Safety in Street Food Stalls, Chiang Mai University.”

The meeting, organized by the Faculty of Public Health, CMU, brought together experts and stakeholders to discuss the current situation of street food safety on campus. The session focused on identifying potential risks, reviewing existing monitoring systems, and proposing strategies to improve hygiene, quality standards, and consumer safety in street food practices.

Participation in such collaborative discussions reflects VPHCAP’s commitment to strengthening food safety at the community level while integrating One Health approaches to ensure the well-being of both the university population and the broader public.
