After two years of limited in-person activities, the Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety Centre for Asia Pacific (VPHCAP), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, was delighted to organize a one-day trip for students in the Master of Science Program in Veterinary Public Health (International Program). This special event was designed not only to give students a break from their academic routines, but also to strengthen friendships, foster teamwork, and allow them to experience the vibrant culture and natural beauty of Chiang Mai.

The day began with adventure and adrenaline at Pongyang Jungle Coaster & Zipline, where students enjoyed breathtaking views and exhilarating rides through the lush green forest. This was followed by a visit to the Mae Sa Elephant Camp, offering students the chance to observe and appreciate one of Thailand’s most iconic animals while learning about their role in culture and conservation.

The trip concluded with a stroll through the Charming Chiang Mai Flower Festival 2022, where students immersed themselves in a spectacular showcase of local creativity, colorful floral displays, and cultural performances that highlighted the unique traditions of the region.

The event was filled with joy, laughter, and shared experiences that reminded us all of the importance of balancing academic life with cultural and social engagement. For our students, it was not just a trip—it was a chance to build lasting memories and friendships while being part of the VPHCAP family.

Come join us and prepare for new experiences, both inside and outside the classroom!
