The 6th Food Safety and Zoonoses Symposium for Asia Pacific was conducted on 26–27 August 2021 by the Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety Centre for Asia Pacific (VPHCAP), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chiang Mai University, in collaboration with the OIE Collaborating Centre for Veterinary Services Capacity Building and the Faculty of Public Health, Chiang Mai University. The symposium aimed to encourage, strengthen, and generate innovative knowledge through the exchange of academic experiences in food safety and zoonoses among experts, government agencies, the private sector, academic scientists, and graduate and doctoral students from across the Asia Pacific region and beyond.

The symposium was financially supported by MSD Animal Health, Thailand.
