
From 22-25 September 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Duangporn Pichpol, Director of the Veterinary Public Health and Food Safety Centre for Asia Pacific (VPHCAP), and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veerasak Punyapornwithaya, Director of the Research Center for Veterinary Biosciences and Veterinary Public Health, participated in the 34th Conference of the WOAH Regional Commission for Asia and the Pacific held in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Dr. Duangporn contributed to the session “Strengthening Scientific Excellence of Asia–Pacific Region through WOAH Reference Centres Network – Overview and Examples of RL and CC Activities.”
Dr. Veerasak also served as a speaker, sharing technical perspectives with regional and international colleagues.

The conference convened experts across the region to enhance collaboration and advance veterinary public health and food safety through shared experience, capacity building, and evidence-informed dialogue.
